How we started

A small group of rowers with a wide range of experience got together to create an environment where people from all walks of life were able to access rowing.

Our Mission

Started by a group of rowers in Gloucestershire who felt passionately that their mission was to make rowing accessible to everyone in the community and if barriers exist then they should try to tackle them head on and enable people who might not otherwise do so, get on the water specifically tailored to their needs and requirements.

I love being out on the water, it gives me a sense of freedom that I don’t have on land. It’s a really good way to get fit, stay active and enjoy the outdoors. I also got to benefit from the use of an Erg loaned to me during lockdown so that I could keep my fitness and skills up when I couldn’t get out on the water. I really look forward to my weekly rowing sessions. Thanks for your time and support.”
